MagicSchool has had a profound impact on how I use AI not only as a teacher but also with my students. I will share how MagicSchool helps me plan as well as how I have experimented with using AI to help my students with their reading and writing. Participants will learn how to use MagicSchool, get ideas for how to use MagicSchool with their students, and have time to plan how to incorporate MagicSchool into an upcoming lesson.

Vaping is the biggest growing epidemic in our students face today. In an effort to educate staff and parents we created a presentation about vaping, how student obtain vapes and the effects they can have on youth.
This session will establish a vision for behavior self-contained (SC) classrooms by setting shared norms and fostering a collaborative, learning-centered culture. Participants will explore meaningful learning experiences, thoughtful instruction, and effective assessment. Key topics include curriculum, social skills instruction, AIM follow-up, the Nurtured Heart Approach, and “Be Good People” philosophy. Attendees will assess current practices, identify gaps, and discuss a potential program name change, all aimed at enhancing student outcomes in behavior SC settings.
PD will be provided regarding the process for requesting an FBA. Procedures will be reviewed for Isprout along with updating Isprout caseloads. Projections for the 25-26 school year will be discussed.

This session will focus on key areas of applied programming, including communication skills and academic support. Participants will explore the use of AAC and assistive technology (AT) across elementary, middle, and high school settings, with insights from educators. The academic support segment will cover scope and sequence planning for the school year, curriculum modifications, and integrating Unique Learning System (ULS) resources. Future professional development days will address independent living skills, practical skills, social skills, and transition guidance. This session is required for applied teachers and optional for applied IAs.
Instructional Assistants will review the information covered in Behavior 101, and then have the opportunity to ask questions and share specific behavior scenarios with which they have struggled. IAs will be grouped by grade levels. (Behavior 101 is not a prerequisite, all IAs are welcome)
Our committee will meet to continue to continue our year one, tier one behavior work. As a district, we will benefit from clear, consistent systems for addressing student behaviors, increased tools for teachers, data-informed equitable practices, and a systematic process ensuring each child receives the necessary behavioral support. At the school level, this will lead to consistent behavior interventions, improved school climate, increased teacher confidence, stronger student relationships, and reduced behavior referrals—all contributing to higher student achievement.

"What is a language learner? And, what does a language learner need to grow?" These are two questions we will zoom in on during this professional learning opportunity. Together, we will use our own language learning stories to consider the domains in which we communicate. We will explore the components that shape how we use language (like syntax and semantics) and ‘peek’ into a couple classrooms to see what this is like as a new language learner. We will learn more about the stages of language acquisition, and how WIDA proficiency level descriptors help us identify what language learners can do and are ready to learn how to do next. This workshop will introduce technology tools that support academic language development in vocabulary, translation, text adaptation, lesson planning, and materials creation. We will dive into Magicschool.ai, which helps teachers create lesson and unit plans, sentence starters, rubrics, text levelers, translations of materials, vocabulary lists, choice boards, Youtube video questions/quizzes and more. Classroom examples and applications will be shared. Participants will have time to practice and explore the tools presented.

It will explain how taxpayers contribute to public education in Indiana and how funding formulas result in varying funding levels across different school districts, specifically Noblesville. Additionally, the session will address the financial successes, challenges and opportunities currently facing Noblesville Schools.
