This session will focus on key areas of applied programming, including communication skills and academic support. Participants will explore the use of AAC and assistive technology (AT) across elementary, middle, and high school settings, with insights from educators. The academic support segment will cover scope and sequence planning for the school year, curriculum modifications, and integrating Unique Learning System (ULS) resources. Future professional development days will address independent living skills, practical skills, social skills, and transition guidance. This session is required for applied teachers and optional for applied IAs.
